You’ll get to know me as Jim… I’m writing from here in my home office in the Palm Desert area of California & I’m one of the few people who reside in this beautiful community that doesn’t play golf!

I’m recently retired from my career as a President in the Hospitality Management sector & my wife & I are regularly enjoying our travels. With children & grandchildren located in southern California and Texas we get to spend the quality time wth them in their homes & we’ve just come back from a 20 day cruise around the Canary Islands - where we enjoyed the most beautiful food & meeting people much like my wife who is originally from Cuba.

My hobbies tend to be intellectual pursuits - reading biographies, books on politics & Personal Development, the occasional fiction novel. I play poker on Tuesdays & I love late lunches at charming restaurants, but that still leaves a lot of time to fill in, in between these enjoyable interests. That’s what led me on the search for a business…

THE PROBLEM THAT LED ME HERE:
People ask me why I still want to be earning an income after retiring very comfortably from a successful career as President of a company for 20+ years. My answer is “That’s how we score in the game called Business”. I read a book early on in my career called “Business as a Game” & I’ve played that game all along. Despite loving the game of success & assisting others to achieve, I’d also like to fulfill my wife’s ultimate dream of having a holiday home in Aspen, Colorado & I like to fly private so there’s some motivation there!

Searching for a business opportunity that would be intellectually challenging, professionally inspiring & financially rewarding was proving to be exhausting until I came across a little ad that piqued my interest. I sure am glad I inquired!

WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY STOOD OUT TO ME:
While it first looked like I was inquiring about a job & I already knew I didn’t want that - I wanted to prove to myself that I could still answer an ad & land an offer - I used to be pretty good at it! I stayed open-minded while I researched this opportunity & while I was concerned about the poor reputation of some companies in this industry, throughout the inquiry process I was never sold to & I’ll admit I was impressed by the income opportunity. As I dug deeper, with every step that I took, I was further impressed by the genuineness of the company representatives. I’ve learned that in any organization, people want to feel part of a team of people that they really want to be around. With this community there’s an unbelievable vibe there.

Throughout my career, I’ve learned that great people are critical to success & I’ve always made leading & supporting my sales team my top priority.

I’ve worked in a lot of “Family Businesses” where there can be a lot of tension between family members & I’ve also worked in large Corporations where they can just fire you cold blooded - both environments have given me a lot of interesting experience.

The real need in the Business world at present is an alternative for so many individuals of a certain age in particular, that are not being treated or compensated the way they really deserve to be. To get outside of the mindset of being stuck in a salary & actually reaching their full potential in an opportunity like this, is an exciting avenue & I’m inspired to be working with people on something that is meaningful & has a great level of integrity.
